As a woman, you are more attuned to what people need but you may, like a lot of women, have problems when it comes to understanding what a man needs from you in a relationship. You should know by know that men like some mystery to their women. Today's woman seems to have forgotten to this and use the same head-on, no-nonsense style they need to be a success in their careers. Men like to chase women, never forget that. If you're constantly on time or early, answer every call and text, answer every question asked straight out, then you're going to have a man who gets bored although he may appreciate punctuality from you at times.
Since men thrive on the thrill of the chase, you need to provide him something to chase. If he can get you just like that, he's not going to want you that much. Aside from this game of chase and catch, deep down men want the same thing we want, which is a stable relationship with someone who loves and cares for them. They do want a strong, confident woman despite what you may see to be the opposite. Men also want a friend as well as a lover, someone to talk to.
Delving Further Into Men's Minds
The reason why it seems that men don't want that strong, confident woman they say the want is because they don't deeply analyze what they truly want. Often they go for the opposite of what they want based on reaction so they're not getting what they truly want and need. What do you do to get these men and help yourself get what you want as well as help them get what they want and need? Just a few things will do it, and it's all about balance.
The Look
You want to dress right if you seek to attract a man. You need to balance this, staying in the middle of things. You don't want to wear things you'd wear to work, and you don't want to dress like a tramp. Wear something that you're comfortable in, yet something that clearly states you're a woman. Something slightly revealing, but not slutty.
Again, Remember the Mystery
Organization, punctuality, and details. These are all important at the office but remember you're not at the office now. You're trying to get a man. If he calls, don't call him back right away, maybe let a couple go to voicemail. Don't return all of his calls. If he asks how your night out with the girls was, don't tell him everything. Leave him something to think about. Remember the balance factor. If you overdo this, he will take it as you're not interested in him and he'll move on.
Let the Man Drive
Allowing a man to control what's going on in the relationship may sound contrary to your personal beliefs, but this ties in to that frustration you may feel when you hear a man say he wants a strong woman, and then backs away from you when you're exactly that. Here's why. If you're driving the relationship, he's going to have his masculinity threatened. He will like you for being a strong woman, but give him the wheel while you're dating. Let him do the work and pursue you. Let him make the moves. This gives him that security that he needs and you don't really have to compromise your strong personality. See? Balance is the key in all things.
