7. Never the leader, always the follower
As it is relevant today as it was in the past. To be boyfriend material it is a plus to have the qualities of a leader. Initiate the first moves, suggest things to do and places to go. you probably ask her where to go and what to do all the time. Most of the time she will just say "I don't know" and ask you back right? Sometimes she does make a suggestion but almost all the time you don't want to do it. Being a shadow or the "side character" in the story will not get you anywhere but the friend zone.
6. You're Boring!
This is problematic more for some guys because they have no clue just how boring they are. Even though what they do or talk about is interesting to them, it may not be interesting to others. Figure out if you are fun and interesting to talk to or be with. Find out if girls are engaged in your conversations or not. Look for signs that give off that feeling that they are simply not interested. It may be that she keeps interrupting you, she gets distracted easily, or it can even be as soon simple as her body turning away from you.
5. Followed the "friends first" method
We've heard it all before, "I'll just be her friend for a while and then I'll make my move when the time is right". The reality will crush even the best you out there. Whoever says this method works has either failed or became the best friend, which is a whole other hell in its self. It is a mess you don't want to be in because a: you are hiding your true intentions and b: it does not guarantee success afterwards. Don't punish yourself and do not hide your true intentions. Otherwise, the friend zone is where you will be.
4. You're too easy
If you do not possess a challenge to the ladies you will be seen as too easy, or too much available. People want what they can't have and this rule applies to woman just as it applies to everyone else. In fact in most cases when the girl is more attractive, the more stubborn she will be! Think about it, all the time she can get whatever she wants from any guy. The power of rejection or simply holding back will make you look challenging.
3. You don't flirt
This is one of the most devastating causes of why guys get friend zoned. They simply do not flirt. Flirting is natures most powerful form of communicating attraction. It takes on many forms such as body language, spoken language, touching, text messages etc. Flirting creates sexual tension which is key if you want to be seen as more than just a friend. You give her boring text messages that seems to be on repeat day after day. You're too afraid to touch her. You also probably act overly nice, give her too much space and just simply are afraid to do more.
2. Low self esteem
How you carry yourself is very important to women. In fact when I ask the ladies on their opinion about guys, almost all of them have mentioned confidence and self esteem. If you do not love who you are, then how will you expect others to love you. If you are not confident in whom you are no girl will be confident in being with you. Women are supposed to be the insecure ones have guys taken that role too?
1. Hesitation
Yes the number reason why guys get friend zoned is because they hesitate. When opportunity arrives they will always convince themselves not to take it and to wait a little longer. Little do they know that some guys out there are willing to create opportunity when one does not show up. Sometimes I am asked when the right time to make a move is. I tell them the same answer time and time again, NOW! If not now then sooner than they think. Hesitation is crippling and can lead you to all the other reasons mentioned above. It is the most single worst seed to plant in your mind. Be wary of this seed and avoid it at all cost.
