Men can be so frustrating at times. They say they want one thing, and then reject it when presented with it. For example, you've certainly heard men say that they want a strong woman. You show him you're a strong woman, and he doesn't accept you as you thought he would. What is up with this? Work vs. Home Personalities
As a career woman of today, a certain personality is expected. Punctuality, reliability, being knowledgeable, the ability to stick to a plan, the determination to complete a project, and an all-around chipper, go-getter attitude is what you need to succeed at work. In some aspects, carrying this personality home with you is a good thing. However, take this into your relationship and you're bound to bore the hell out of your man. Remember, your relationship is not the same as your job, so don't treat it that way.

In case you haven't figured out what I'm trying to say, it's simple: be mysterious. It's important not be too mysterious because you'll just end up looking suspicious to your man and this will cause some serious issues in your relationship. Believe it or not, men do like mystery and excitement and if he really likes you, he'll often think about you, wondering what you do when he's not around.
Being mysterious will allow him to do this, but I stress to not overdo this or the things he'll be wondering will cause him worry and hurt. Honesty is always best, despite what anyone else might tell you. For example, don't lie to him if he asks you about what happened on your night out with the girls, but don't give him all of the details, either. He should wonder about some things.
What Men Really Want Despite Their Actions
There's another part to seeing relationships through his eyes. No matter how you see him act, he wants the same thing you want. He wants a good, solid relationship with a good woman just like you. Even if he doesn't show it, he wants that emotional connection; to be loved and cared for, comforted and even romanced. Yes, this does sound silly but it's true. You're probably asking yourself why, since you have all of these things to offer, is he bothering with some skanky-looking bimbo instead of tripping over himself trying to snatch you up, right? Well, consider his age and understand his approach.
Younger men will almost always use the reactive approach. A woman steps in front of him, indicating that she likes him so he goes, "OK". She may not be what he's looking for, but since she's there, she'll do. Men generally don't tend to figure out what they want and search for that, they just take what comes their way or accept who accepts them. It is with age that he will change his approach and start looking for who will make him happy rather than who just says yes. This doesn't mean you can't have a younger man or one exactly your age, it just means that you may have a tougher time. It may not really be his fault, but just the way he's designed.

Some ways you can get your man using your new-found knowledge is making sure your style is right. As always, balance is everything. You want to show off some of that body but don't dress trampy. Let his imagination wander about what's under those clothes. Be dependable, but not with the same diligence you use at work. Now, for something really important. He knows you're a good leader, but men just like to lead. It makes him feel like, well, like a man.
