There's nothing more frustrating than a girl not texting back. It can eat at you every single second you don't see that notification light on your phone. I know. I've been there and it sucks. You end up wasting a bunch of your day just thinking about why she hasn't texted you back. Why this girl stopped texting me is a question my students ask A LOT! First thing I tell them is this:
Don't take it personally. The worst thing you can do is start imagining things in your head. Maybe she's not interested. Maybe some other dude is banging her. Maybe I said something I shouldn't. It's natural to act like this. It's called anxiety and you need to relax. Take a step back and detach yourself from the situation. It's the first step you need to take in order to get your thoughts together and find a way to get her to text you back the way you would like her to.
Ask yourself the following questions before you continue to text her
What type of girl is she? Is she really popular and/or really busy? Does she work and go to school? You probably already know how busy she is. Sometimes, a girl gets a text, looks at it but then gets distracted by another event or something else she has to do. This is why it's so important to craft a text she almost cannot ignore. A text she'll "make time" for. I'll show you how to do that in a minute. You might also be able to find a better time to text her. If you know she has a break at 4:30pm, try texting her then.
Where's the interest level at? Not just hers but yours as well. Are you conveying that in the message you're sending? How does she usually react to the texts you send? Is she the kind of girl that never texts first? Quick response? Detailed response? Or are you usually waiting a long time time in between texts? Does she answer with one word or just a few words or does she give you a lot of details? For example, if you text her "How's your day going?" does she text you "Good" or "It's been pretty awesome. Finally got back to the gym. Then some yoga. How about you?" If it's the latter, then her interest level looks good. One word responses show that she's just not that interested in texting you back. You need to work on stimulating her interest level in you.
When did she stop texting you? Did you piss her off? Are you texting this girl too much? Backtrack a little bit and look or clues about what went wrong. Look at your text message history and look out for the exact moment she became distant. You might find something that is causing her to become distant. If you don't find anything, hit up her friends or anyone that knows her well and ask them what they might know.
Are you texting her too much?
If you think you're texting a girl too much, you probably are. That doesn't mean you should stop texting her. The only time you should stop texting a girl is when she tell you not to. Otherwise, keep on texting until you get a response. Of course, you shouldn't text her more than once every other day when she's not texting you back. Just exercise common sense and try not to annoy her. Annoying her is the best way to get ignored.
How To Get Her To Respond Almost Instantly Over Text
The best way to get her to text you back quickly is to send her a text that will affect the way she feels. It's not about you, it's about her. Girls are more likely to respond to your texts if they're affected by what you send them - emotionally. If the text makes them, happy, scared, sad, angry, confused or feeling something other than indifferent, you have crafted a good text. In my experience, the best text you can send a girl to make her respond is a text that inflicts some kind of suspense or humor. Find something funny or dramatic in your life that you can talk to her about. Send her a short text about something that would cause suspense or fear in your life or hers. I don't want you to scare her to death, just rattle her nerves enough to get her out of her comfort zone. One time I sent an interest of mine this text:
"My grandfather just slipped me a condom. Our relationship went from 0 to awkward. FAST!"
She ROFLed and finally woke from her slumber of not texting me back for 3 days straight. She said it was the most shockingly funny text she had heard in a while.
Once you get an emotional response from her, try to ask her to meet with you somewhere to talk and hang out as the conversation develops.
Finally, keep your cool and remember that the best weapon in your arsenal against the wall she has put between the two of you is her very own emotions.
