Blind dates are scary and can hurt you or cost you your life. Young guys and gals don't realize what they're getting into because they see a picture of someone they want to go out with and maybe talked to them once on the phone not aware that these so-called dates are out for something else.
There are lots of nice strangers but it's not worth the gamble to find out if the one you meet is good or bad. A nineteen year old girl went on a blind date with someone she met through an online dating site and she said it was the worse night of her life.
Instead of her driving her own car, he picked her up and told her they were going to the restaurant but instead he took her out in the woods. It was dark and cold and she was terrified. He kept saying he wanted to show her something.
When he stopped the car in a desolated wooded area, he got out, grabbed some duct tape, yanked her out of the car and taped her hands in back of her. He taped her mouth so she couldn't scream and her eyes so she couldn't see what was going on.
He wanted her to be scared and indeed she was. He held a knife to her throat and told her if she tried to fight him, he would slash her throat. He raped her over and over and beat her until she was unconscious.
He saw headlights from another car and he thought she was dead, so he got in his car and sped away. She came to and was able to get up where the car saw her and the by passers took her to the hospital. The cops questioned her and she told them his name, the online dating site where she met him, but when they checked his profile, he didn't even use his real name.
She was lucky because for some reason another car came to the same wooded area and saved her life. She was miles from nowhere and probably wouldn't have made it on foot as it was cold, she was badly injured, and she had no shoes on. It's nice that two teenagers were looking for a private place to make out turning into heroes for this girl.
She said she'll never forget the horror that night and is thankful she got a second chance at life. Blind dates are dangerous rather it's a friend wanting you to date someone you never met or someone from an online dating site.
