How often have you read or been told that "insecurity" is the biggest turnoff for the vast majority of women? One often also sees lack of personal hygiene being cited as a major turn off. To be perfectly frank, most women really don't feel attracted to men who are lacking self-confidence, and most women also don't like men who neglect personal hygiene, but even so, these two traits are certainly not the biggest turn offs for women.
Now, before I go any further, I need to remind you that women instinctively seek security in their lives. Even though women have changed a great deal over the years, and even though they are on a par with men in most westernized countries, they still tend to have that unique maternal instinct. They want a partner they can rely on. They want a partner who is able to provide for them and any offspring they might have together.
Unemployment
With the above in mind, it comes as no surprise then that unemployment is largely considered to be the number one turn off for the overwhelming majority of women. You can be rest assured, if you're unemployed, you will find it nearly impossible to find a partner, and especially if you've been unemployed for an extended period of time. Of course there are exceptions, and if you're exceptionally lucky, or maybe if you're extremely charming or tremendously good-looking, you might find a very wealthy woman who is willing to support you.
Residential Status
How many guys do you know who are living with their parents, and who have a stable relationship? Yes, there are countless millions of teenagers in this sort of position, but teenage dating is nothing like adult dating. Do you honestly think a responsible grown up business woman will want to get involved with a man, that is not even capable of living alone.
If you're an adult man, and you still live with your parents, most women will come to the conclusion that you're either very insecure, you're bone idol, or that you are the sort of person that has no qualms about taking advantage of others if you think you can get away with it. Women like men would are capable of being independent.
The two turn offs I've mentioned above are generally seen as being the biggest turn offs for women, but don't for a minute think they're the only turn offs. I've personally had a woman tell me she really liked a man she met, but she was completely turned off by his dirty fingernails. In fact, a lack of personal hygiene ranks high on the list when it comes to turn offs.
No respectable woman wants to date or sleep with a guy that reeks of perspiration, and let's face it; you can't blame them. As a man, how turned on would you be if your partner's feet smelled so bad, you could smell them in the room next door?
Unemployment; living with your parents; lack of self-esteem, and also poor hygiene standards, are all things which will prevent you from getting that woman of your dreams. Perhaps unemployment has happened through no fault of your own, but if that's the case, then you should wait until you're back on your feet before you start dating again. If you live with Mom and Dad, then move out as soon as possible, even if you can only afford a small place of your own. If poor hygiene is a factor, then make sure you start changing your ways.
