Third, you will help your guy establish a friendship then an emotional attachment to you since there won't be that physical bond of sex to clutter it all up. If he's already getting the goods, what's the point in making emotional attachments? So, even if you really want it bad, hold off on the sex for a while.
From Friends to Dating
The best way to build a strong relationship is to build a strong friendship. If you're his best friend, then the relationship will grow and thrive. You'll have him hooked on you like you wouldn't believe. One thought: Is your best friend right now a guy? Have you cried to him when relationships went sour and so many times you thought or told him you wished you could find a great guy like him? Well, why not him? If things end badly it could ruin the friendship, but it's not a bad thing to give your friend a try. Slow and Steady
Unlike us, men don't tend to know what they really want for a while. Because of this, you have to take things kind of slow and easy. Don't rush or force a relationship on the guy or else he may feel suffocated or pressured and that's a sure way to drive him away from you rather than to you.
So, to recap, hold off on the sex until things are established, keep building upon the friendship, and finally take things slow and let the idea of a relationship with you sink in.
